November 2011
Vintage Renewal's very first traveling Pop+Up Eco-Boutique
VINTAGE RENEWAL creates eclectic Bohemian inspired style through the reuse of existing vintage and recycled materials. Our second Pop+Up Eco-Boutique will open on 2nd Saturday in November on the 12th, during Denver Arts week at HINTERLAND located at 3254 Walnut St., Denver CO, 80205.
The hours of this one-day Pop-Up Extravaganza will run from 5 - 10pm.
Musical guests are being represented by talent promoter Strings and Woods. They include Gabrielle Louise, Justin Roth and Rob Drabkin.
Jeanne Connolly of Vintage Renewal has partnered up with Hinterland, located in Denver’s River North Art District to create the future in retail!
Rather than setting up a permanent retail location, the Indie Redesigner has decided to craft interesting one-of-a-kind pieces in her art studio and then create excitement upon their completion at her
traveling Pop+Up Eco-Boutique.
What is a traveling Pop+Up Eco-Boutique, you ask?
Well, it's Vintage Renewal's transportable earth-friendly storefront that will Pop+Up anywhere from one to two days at a time, at an ever changing location, bringing locals fresh bohemian works of art for the home, studio and wardrobe!
You can follow them, and all of their plans for Popping+Up in your neck of the woods at the Vintage Renewal Fan Page or at vintagerenewal.com.
You can expect to see things like Vintage Chairs, Upcycled Lighting, Funky Lampshades, Boho Patchwork Pillows, Eco-Fashion and all things Eco-Friendly and Vintage!
This is a take and go show, no waiting around to enjoy your usable art for the home. Every show is guaranteed to be unique!
MUSIC LINE UP
Justin Roth is a nationally touring singer/songwriter/acoustic guitarist who combines an artful blend of hooks laid on a bed of brilliantly
inventive guitar technique for a unique mix of acoustic indie folk. He has sold over 11,000 copies of his five independent CDs as well as being a core contributor to an
instrumental solo guitar album produced for Target Stores, entitled Lifescapes - Solo Guitar, which has sold over 70,000 copies nationwide.
Gabrielle Louise is a nationally touring troubadour noted for her poignant lyrics and lush voice.
The daughter of two vagabond musicians, Gabrielle inherited the genetic predisposition to wanderlust and song. She can be found
serenading and storytelling around the country, sometimes solo, sometimes with a full band in tow.
Rob Drabkin.
Rob has achieved some big wins in his career so far. He was voted Colorado's Best Singer/Songwriter by Westword Magazine
2008- 2010. He gathered enough votes to earn his turn on stage at The Mile High Music Festival with artists like The Fray, Widespread Panic, Tool, and Ben Harper.
He played a Sold Out show at The Fox Theater opening for The John Butler Trio. Hes done short tours with Carbon Leaf and Tea Leaf Green and a national tour
with Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam. Rob recalls how Davy invited him to join the tour.
